As most of you know, Mike and I are preparing for Lilly Catherine's arrival. It seems like just yesterday I was taking a pregnancy test and now here it is I'm 8 weeks away from my due date! With this heat and this stage of my pregnancy, September 11th can't come fast enough! Although I hear I'll be wishing for some of the "alone time" I have now after her arrival.
I had my baby shower on Saturday, July 12th. It was a huge success, everyone was so generous and our daughter received a TON of great gifts. As of right now, half are on the floor in her room and the other half are on the floor in the living room! Once we get my mom's rug shampooer fixed and take care of the rug in her room, this house can (hopefully) get a little more organized as we try to get everything set for the big day when she comes home. Muggsy is a bit confused...
Here are some photos that Mike's cousin Melanie took of us celebrating Lilly's "incubation period." Melanie is a very talented photographer and we enjoy looking at these photos - even if it's still hard to believe that's me and we REALLY have a little one on the way!
